The rotor is comprised of disks, that can be made from carbon steel or manganese. The number of discs may vary depending on the model of the mill
(3 - 4 disks).
The rotor has holes that fit a drawn wire rod SAE 1045, where the arm is fixed and then attached to the hammer.
With the disk system, it allows for the adjustment of the hammers on 5 levels, obtaining the maximum recovery.
Adjusting the hammer closer to the grids allows for a much better the texture of the product, although this occurs under rigid specifications.
To prolong the life of the bearing, bearings with a labyrinth system are used.
